"An Evening in the Reece Museum with an Emmett Till Painting," (1:11:34) 2017 Fl3tch3r Exhibit Documentary The FL3TCH3R Exhibit presents An Evening in the Reece Museum with an Emmett Till Painting featuring artists Patricia Kabore and Dr. Lisa Whittington. Both artists' works were on display in the 2017 FL3TCH3R Exhibit at the ETSU Reece Museum from October-December 2017. Both also have personal connections to the Emmett Till story. Ms. Kabore was in Chicago when Emmett Till's body was returned from Mississippi. Dr. Whittington's painting Emmett Till: How She Sent Him, How She Got Him Back was featured earlier this year in an NBC News article. The Reece Museum is on the ETSU campus and is free and open to the public.

The film will expose the audience to the stories of individual students, and parents, in concert with interviews of nationally known educational, psychological, and legal professionals that have represented students caught in the pipeline who can explain the existence, effect and results. The first hand accounts of events will introduce a face to the pipeline by showing a personal side of this issue.

"Precious Resources Caught in a Pipeline" (90:00) Documentary HD Digital Video for release in 2013 The "School to Prison Pipeline," is a disturbing national trend wherein children are funneled out of public schools and into the juvenile and criminal justice systems. Many of these students are minorities, have disabilities, histories of poverty, abuse and/or neglect, and would benefit from additional educational and support services.
